  • Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Coconut Grove, Kendall, Doral and the Brickell and Brickell Key towers.
  • Parts stocked for Miami-Dade kitchens, not shipped in after the visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer same-day Gaggenau repair service?

Yes. Sterling Home Group provides same-day Gaggenau service across Miami, FL. Contact us before noon and a Gaggenau technician usually arrives the same day, equipped for the diagnostics these units require.

Which Gaggenau appliances do you repair?

The full Gaggenau range: 400 and 200 Series wall ovens, combi-steam and combi-microwave ovens, Vario modular cooktops, induction and teppanyaki surfaces, extractors, fully integrated dishwashers, built-in coffee machines, refrigeration columns, freezers and wine climate cabinets.

Is Gaggenau harder to repair than other luxury brands?

It is more specialised. Gaggenau shares engineering with the Bosch group but uses its own control architecture, its own service menus and modular Vario hardware. A technician who has not worked on the platform will usually misread it - which is why we focus on it.

How much does Gaggenau repair usually cost?

It depends on the unit and the fault - a Vario cooktop element is a very different job from a combi-steam generator or a sealed-system repair. You approve the exact price before any work begins.

Do you use genuine Gaggenau parts?

Yes. Control modules, steam generators, heating elements, door hinges, seals and compressors are all genuine OEM-spec. On equipment at this level, generic parts are a false economy.

Do you provide a warranty on Gaggenau repairs?

All work carries a 2-year warranty on parts and labor. If the same Gaggenau fault returns within that period, we return and put it right at no extra cost.

Are your Gaggenau technicians licensed and insured?

Every technician is licensed, trained and fully insured - and works with proper care for the custom cabinetry and stone these appliances are usually built into.

My Gaggenau wine cabinet is not holding both zones. Can you fix it?

Yes. Independent dual-zone control is exactly where these cabinets drift, and it is normally a sensor, a damper or a failing zone fan. We test each zone under load so the fix actually holds.

What areas do you serve?

Sterling Home Group covers Miami, FL and the wider Miami-Dade area, with same-day Gaggenau service for most zip codes and flexible scheduling.

How soon can I book a Gaggenau technician?

Booking takes under a minute online or by phone. You get a real arrival window rather than an all-day wait, and a text confirmation before the technician sets out.

Gaggenau repair in Miami - built like architecture, serviced accordingly

Gaggenau is the most deliberately architectural equipment in the luxury category: modular cooking surfaces, side-swing ovens, fully flush refrigeration, and a design language that treats the kitchen as joinery rather than as a room full of appliances. Servicing it well is as much about respecting the installation as it is about the machine.

01

Vario modules: think in modules, not in cooktops

A Vario run is not one cooktop. It is a series of independent modules - induction, gas, teppanyaki, grill, steamer, deep fryer - combined into a single surface by the designer who specified the kitchen. Each module has its own electronics and its own generation, and they were not necessarily installed at the same time. So "the cooktop is not working" is almost never accurate: one module is, and which one it is, and where it sits in the run, tells us a great deal before we lift anything.

Position matters thermally too. Modules reject heat into a shared space beneath the counter, and a grill or teppanyaki module will warm its neighbours in a way that a designer's drawing did not always account for. When an induction module next to a grill module is the one that keeps cutting out, that is a clue about the enclosure rather than about the module.

02

Ovens: side-swing doors, combi-steam and the service menu

Gaggenau ovens run a long list of heating modes, and the single most diagnostic question is which modes still work. Top heat fine but convection dead, or steam producing nothing while conventional baking is normal - on this platform that alone usually identifies the element or the relay driving it. The service menu holds error history and sensor readings that the TFT display never shows, and reading it first is the difference between a targeted repair and a sequence of parts.

The side-swing door is genuinely different from a drop-down. It seals along the latch edge rather than the bottom, and it carries its weight on hinges that were engineered for a heavy door in a tall cabinet. Heat escaping around a door, a door that no longer closes square, or a core probe socket worn from use are all recognisable and fixable - but they are not what a technician trained on drop-down doors goes looking for.

03

Flush refrigeration and integrated dishwashers

Gaggenau refrigeration is designed to disappear into millwork, which leaves the narrowest ventilation margin of anything we work on. The clearance the installer set is the whole cooling strategy, and it is quietly compromised by the trim, panels and filler pieces that get added to a kitchen over the years. A column that is fine all winter and drifts every August is usually describing its enclosure rather than its sealed system.

The dishwashers are fully integrated, which means the door panel and the appliance behave as one assembly. When a heavy custom panel settles, it loads the door seal unevenly - and the leak that follows starts inside the cabinetry rather than on the floor, which is exactly why the leak-protection system on these machines should be treated as urgent rather than reset and ignored.

04

Rarity, parts and the value of patience

There is not much Gaggenau in Miami-Dade compared with the other brands we service, and that shapes the repair in two ways. The first is expertise: technicians who see these machines regularly are genuinely scarce, and a diagnosis made by someone learning the platform on your kitchen is expensive in more than money. The second is parts. Module electronics, oven relays, door hardware and control assemblies vary between generations and series, and some are ordered rather than stocked anywhere in the state.

So we are direct about timelines. If a part has to come in, you are told what it is, what it costs and realistically when it lands, before you commit. And where a generation has genuinely run out of support, you get told that too - with a straight assessment of options rather than a repair sold on a machine that cannot be kept running.

05

How we source parts for a brand this rare

There is comparatively little Gaggenau in Miami-Dade, and almost nothing for it sits on a shelf in Florida. That reality shapes how we run these jobs. We identify the exact series and, for a Vario run, the specific module and its position before anything is ordered, because generations that look identical from the front frequently are not underneath.

Where a part is current, it is ordered and the timeline is what it is - usually days rather than weeks, and you are told the actual date rather than a comfortable one. Where a part has been superseded, we check whether the replacement fits the same cutout and the same harness, which on modular equipment is often a much smaller job than it first appears. And where a generation has genuinely run out of support, you hear that on the first visit.

The reason we are this specific about it is that the alternative is worse. A technician who orders hopefully on a brand this thinly supported turns a one-visit repair into a month of your kitchen being half usable, and that is the outcome we are trying to avoid rather than the risk we are trying to hide.

06

Gaggenau faults we are called about weekly

  • One Vario module dead or intermittent while the rest of the run works normally
  • Induction module cutting out under load, especially next to a grill or teppanyaki module
  • Oven where some heating modes work and others do nothing
  • Combi-steam oven with weak steam, long preheats, or water in the cavity
  • Side-swing oven door not closing square, or heat escaping at the latch edge
  • Flush-installed refrigeration that runs warm only in summer
  • Integrated dishwasher tripping its leak-protection system, or a panel that has dropped out of line
07

What Miami-Dade does to these machines

Flush millwork integration and a Florida summer are an awkward combination: these machines have the least ventilation margin of anything in the category, and August in a Miami kitchen uses all of it. Modules sharing an under-counter space run hotter here than the design assumed, which is why induction cut-outs cluster in the warm months. Humidity accelerates scale in combi-steam water circuits on unfiltered supply. And for homes near the ocean, salt reaches condenser fins and electrical terminations behind cabinetry where nobody would think to look until something stops.

Tell us the series and, for a Vario run, which module and where it sits in the surface. On Gaggenau that detail decides what a technician brings, and on a brand this thinly supported locally, that is the difference between one visit and three.
